The Harvard Kent Leadership & Scholarship Partnership helps make the dream of college a reality for the children of the Harvard-Kent Elementary School. a remarkable urban public school in Charlestown, Massachusetts, where most students live below the poverty level and half don’t speak English at home.

 

Every year we award $1000 college incentive scholarships to high-achieving students, who also join a special club that provides educational enrichment and helps them model the qualities of achievement to the entire school.   Please join us as we announce this year’s winners and host a celebratory reception to honor the scholars and their families!  The Event will be on Friday May 10, 2013 at the Harvard-Kent School.

 

And because early intervention is critical for many young students, we also sponsor educational intervention programs for students at risk for academic failure.
